Good Afternoon, Wow, February has flown by, and I couldn’t be more proud of how hard our students have worked! It’s been a month full of growth, learning, and moments of real progress. As we step into March, I’m excited to keep that momentum going. I know our students are ready to tackle new challenges with energy and enthusiasm, and together, we’ll reach our goals and continue to achieve great things. Thank you for your ongoing support. I’m looking forward to what we can accomplish in the coming weeks! Good Afternoon, We've made it through a chilly week with indoor recesses, but I'm so proud of how the students have persevered and kept up their energy and focus. Their continued growth and progress have been inspiring, and it's wonderful to see their hard work paying off. I'm excited for all that lies ahead as we move forward—there's so much more to learn and discover! Thank you for your continued support. This time allowed students to really focus on their writing about reading, reflecting on their progress and measuring their growth ...

Good Afternoon, Wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day! It has been another wonderful week in 4th grade, and I’m so proud of the continued growth our students are showing—not just academically, but socially as well. Every day, we work together to build a classroom culture that everyone is proud to be a part of. Thank you for your continued support in making this such a positive and exciting year! Week in Review: Leader in Me:  This week we learned about being loyal to the absent, which means speaking as if the person you are talking about can hear you. Being loyal to the absent is a key behavior for building high trust. Invite your learner to share how they could be loyal to the absent using one of the scenarios below: A friend is making fun of a new classmate. Your friend asks what you think about the new student from another country. At a party, your two friends are making fun of another student’s speech issue. Writing:  This week, our 4th grade writers focused on key writi...

We had a fantastic time reenacting the Second Continental Congress and revising our history books to showcase our learning. In math, we completed our unit assessment, and I’m proud of how the students approached it—they’ve made great strides in mastering the concepts we’ve covered. We’ve also been pushing our reading skills with more advanced books to help us grow. And to top it all off, they wrapped up their rollerblading unit with a lot of fun and teamwork! It’s been a week full of learning, growth, and excitement. Thank you for your continued support! Week in Review: Leader in Me:    This week we learned about honesty and talking straight with kindness. Talking straight is a key behavior we use to build high trust. View the Trust Behavior Cards on Leader in Me Online and invite your learner to teach you more about the high trust behavior of straight talk. Writing:...
